Hello! I'm Nat (she/they)

You have a vision; I can design it.

When I was little, I asked so many questions that my family gave me the nickname "Señorita Pregunta," or "Miss Question" in English. This endless curiosity instilled a love for learning that is foundational to my success. My inherent superpower as a curious, multi-passionate individual is my adaptability.

Through my various roles I have worked collaboratively to develop state-wide communications aimed at legislative, business, and public audiences. I flourish in the grey area where solutions are unknown and I have the freedom to create, explore, iterate and strategize.

I'd love to chat and see how I can bring my skills to your team.

Favorite Courses and Instructors

As an autodidact, I have an eclectic collection of courses, instructors and networking groups that have influenced my journey as a content creator. Here are a few of my favorites that I've learned the most from:

Bernadette Jiwa - The Story Skills Workshop

After taking this course, I discovered how to make a bigger impact by learning to tell a better story. It's the reason I often lead with my childhood nickname narrative when introducing myself. It helps make me relatable and memorable from the start.

Seth Godin - the altMBA

This program was life changing. I received a sizable scholarship and met friends from all over the world. I felt like after taking this course I was more confident in my ability to  lead and think outside the box. I was able to give myself permission to be different and do the hard part anyways.

I'm a self-taught designer and the best skills I've picked up were from John McWade. These were two of the most useful courses I completed.

Staying organized is key to successful projects, especially when they contain creative work that will often take multiple rounds of iteration. This helped me see how to better scope my projects, identify major deliverables and inter-dependencies, and communicate with clients at all stages of the process.
